About Kitzo
I am a Leeds based designer passionate about using graphic design to help people communicate with the communities they are surrounded by.

Kitzo was started in 2010 as a way of doing just that. I particularly enjoy working with charities, social enterprises and non profit organisations. But as long as a company is ethical, I will happily work alongside them. They then have the added benefit of knowing they are using someone who is actively trying to support struggling community focused organisations.
Communication
We are passionate about creative communication. In an increasingly visual culture, it is necessary to have an identity and message that makes sure you get noticed. I'll help you find creative ways to engage others with your vision and values
Community
We believe supporting the community around you is essential. As an organisation, effective communication is key to making sure the people you work with understand who you are. Each community is different, and we make it our business to understand the people you work with, to create solutions that are going to be effective & engaging
Creative combinations
Ultimately, it's all about finding creative ways to combine these two passions. This is not just a business opportunity though; it is something I strongly believe in. Sitting comfortably?! Then let me tell you more:

The name Kitzo is based on the greek word 'κτίζω' meaning 'to create'. In the Bible we are told that Man is created in the image of the God; a God who created trees that were 'pleasing to the eye' (Genesis 2:9). After God created the animals, he invited Adam to name them. We have been given a creative nature so that we can partake in God's creation.

Being immersed and engaged with culture is not a vain attempt to make Christianity more relevant, it is accepting the invitation from God to keep engaging with the creation he started. The ever evolving and dynamic nature of culture is not fickleness, but innate human creativity. As churches, charities, and social enterprises, we shouldn't just be trying to keep up with the ever moving frontiers of culture, we should be leading them.
